LOWER SCHOOL COMPUTER
When I began teaching computer to the lower grades, I fell in love with the experience of watching the students grasp the new concepts they were experiencing in the lab. It is an enjoyable environment and an awesome opportunity to teach them something new.
Computer Syllabi Grades K-3
Computer Curriculum: We will follow a general technology curriculum that covers the major aspects of computer and technology. Throughout the year, material from the classroom and/or school wide events may be incorporated into the computer lab.
Classroom Expectations: Students are expected to show kindness, dignity and respect, stay seated and be attentive, actively listen and participate. Should behavior issues arise that cannot be resolved within the lab time by speaking with the student, the classroom teacher will become involved and the student may be removed from the lab for one or more sessions.
